How I Changed My Life...
I used to only exercise when I started a "diet" to lose weight. I didn't see any benefit to it if I wasn't eating well also. Dieting & Exercising came together.
After MANY years of dieting and NOT losing the weight, I found body building. I signed up for a program with a personal trainer and I told myself I was going to follow whatever she told me to do!
I didn't fall in love with it right away. After my first workout, I threw up!
I hid in the bathroom for a while and didn't tell anyone. I was too embarrassed that my first work out was so difficult when the other girls around me were giggling, laughing, and planning where they were going to go to lunch afterwards.
My second work out, I told my trainer that I couldn't work out because my muscles were too sore from the first work out.
She said, "I didn't say this was going to be easy!!"
And at that moment I realized something.
To ACTUALLY make changes in your life, you have to struggle.
You have to change what you would normally do. I HAD to workout that day, even though I was so sore I could barely walk. And I did. I got through it. I survived. SHOCKER.
